Candace Avila

headshotCandace Avila, founder of Smart Cookies School for Girls™, is dedicated to helping raise amazing, confident girls and creating healthy, strong, mother/daughter relationships. She received her Masters of Education in Counseling from U.T. Pan American followed by her post-graduate Life Coach training from ICF accredited Coach University.

Professionally, Candace has carved out a niche as a trusted mentor and coach for women  (as young as 10 years old) who struggle with issues like confidence, friendship, body image/weight and weight loss, life transitions, career advancement/transition, anxiety, stress, and of course, romantic relationships. She is passionate about helping women improve, heal and repair current mother/daughter relationships and teaches them how to create a strong, healthy relationship.  In 2013, Candace launched Smart Cookies School for Girls™ a leading provider of after-school classes and summer camps for girls.  Candace has been a featured speaker at Texas PTA Conference (2015),  We Are Girls (2012, 2013) and MomCom (2012).

Stephanie Bray Heuer

stephanieprofessionalphotoAs a professional life coach, Stephanie works with clients on many different areas of self development including understanding personal values, setting boundaries, and increasing confidence. After recognizing that many of her adult clients developed their insecurities and negative self beliefs at a young age, Stephanie realized there was a need to do this same work with children.

Stephanie is a natural with kids and loves helping them start developing healthy habits and positive self perceptions while they’re young. She has conducted anti-bullying trainings with No Place for Hate, taught workshops on confidence and believing in yourself at SAFE Alliance, and participated in the Big Brother Big Sisters program. Stephanie has a  Bachelor of Science in Communications and received her coach training through the Coaches Training Institute.
